Machine Wash
Keep your rugs fresh and in tip-top condition with the right settings and tricks.
Preparation
Before putting the rug in the washing machine, make sure to remove dust and surface dirt using a vacuum cleaner or by shaking the rug well. This will prevent dirt from building up in the washing machine filter.
How to insert the rug
Place the rug inside the washing machine with the top part of the design facing out.
Washing Machine Settings
Use a delicate cycle with cold or warm water (not exceeding 40°C). Choose a delicate detergent without bleach or whitening agents, to preserve the colors and materials of the rug.
Amount of Detergent
Do not overdo the detergent; a small amount will be enough to obtain an effective cleaning without leaving residues.
Fabric softener
It is recommended not to use fabric softener.
Lindorug in the dryer
Follow these simple tips for effective drying, whether in the dryer or air-drying, and preserve the beauty of your rugs over time.
Dryer
Use a low temperature cycle.
How to insert the rug
Place the rug inside the dryer with the top design facing out.
Air Drying
If you prefer to air dry your rug, lay it flat in a well-ventilated area. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent color fading.
Manual Cleaning
Localized Spots
For small stains, apply a solution of warm water and a mild detergent directly to the stain. Dab gently with a clean cloth until the stain is removed. Do not rub, as this may damage the fibers.
Rinse
After cleaning the stain, rinse the area with a damp cloth to remove any soap residue, then pat dry with a dry cloth.
“Washable” Colors for Children
Our rug chenille rug is washable, but water-based colors labeled "washable," such as tempera or watercolor, are difficult to remove. The structure of the fabric, similar to porous materials, allows the pigments to penetrate deep into the microfiber. For best results, we recommend treating stains immediately with warm water and mild detergents, repeating the process several times until completely removed before the color dries.
